The new pricing model is structured to help schools/school districts save money over time. The teacher license is only a one-time purchase along with the student journals during the first year. During the remaining four years, you only purchase the student journals.

Every active customer who has a one-year license. Any inactive customer who did not renew their one year license.

On March 18, 2024 all eligible active customers will be notified of the new pricing model.

Nothing to be eligible. The current or expired license makes them eligible. Customers simply need to sign the new license agreement for access to the learning management system (LMS) for the next four years with an expiration date of either July 1, 2028 or July 1, 2029.

Note: The new license agreement gives access to the LMS for a total of five years, including the current year. The license requires a minimum of 24 student journals to be purchased with each license each year.

Customers whose license expires between March 18, 2024 and June 30, 2024.

Customers whose license expires between July 1, 2024 and January 30, 2025.

Twenty-four student journals.

There is no reduction in the minimum number of journals for each license. However, if the school has two or more licenses they can mix and match within a grade span. Grade spans are K-2 and 3-8.

Yes, a school can change its grade level under the following conditions:
  • 1) Agree to destroy the current teacher materials as they are no longer licensed to teach that grade level and purchase, at the replacement price, the teacher and classroom materials needed to teach the new grade level.

  • 2) Sign a new agreement for the new grade level license and order student journals.

Our goal is to ship student journals for the new year between July 1- August 15. In order to make that happen we will:
  • 1) Send an order for your confirmation between the last Friday in April through the last Friday in May from our sales team. Text messages along with reminders will be sent out to the customer.

  • 2) Confirmation will allow you to accept your student journal order as presented or make revisions. If revisions are made, then the customer must sign an updated agreement and purchase the replacement teacher and classroom materials if appropriate. NOTE: NO ACTION IS AN ACTION. IF THE SCHOOL DOES NOT CONFIRM, WE WILL SEND THE ORDER AS AGREED.

  • 3) When the order is confirmed or revised, the Customer Success Department will place your order and the Finance Department will send an invoice for payment. Invoice will be due net 30 days after your order is placed.

Note: Once we have the customer portal installed, you will be prompted to login to your account and complete this process and place the order. Proper notifications for the Sales and Finance Departments and for prompting the customer with timely reminders to ensure the order is placed or the customer speaks with a Customer Success or Educational Partnership Consultant about the order.

Officially on March 18, 2024, we will no longer offer the 1, 3, or 5 year license model. On March 18, 2024, we will sell the model described in the End of FY24 and FY25 Fly Five Curriculum Pricing Guide.

Schools are obligated per the contract to pay for the student journals each year.

A school may exchange unused student journals for that school year within 15 days of receiving the student journals for exchange of the appropriate grade level. A restocking fee of 35%, plus shipping will be included.

Fly Five has a built in Partnership and Implementation Support Teams who will begin to work with you on building your goal-driven, student and teacher outcome plan beginning of your 4th year for continued adoption.

The license is a 5-year access to the LMS. As long as the school purchases the minimum number of student journals (i.e. 24 student journals per license) each school year, they will have full access to the LMS. Schools that do not purchase the minimum number of students journals per license each year will maintain access to the LMS, but will not have access to the instructional materials, including the Hopes and Goals setting modules, the C-SETI, the School-to-Home or any digital instructional or professional development that will be added to the LMS. They will maintain access to their profile, the ability to take the SETI, access PD modules that they have completed for continued learning and invitations to any PD or other teacher activities conducted by Fly Five. If the license holder does not purchase the minimum student journals, the license holder agrees to destroy any teaching materials as the license to use the teaching materials is included with the minimum purchase of student journals per license.
