The virtual Mindfulness Mini-Course is a deep dive into the science of mindfulness and an exploration of how to foster mindfulness as a proactive discipline strategy in classrooms and school communities across the globe. This flexible, asynchronous mini-course consists of three modules totaling a 2.5-hour program that can be completed anywhere with a stable internet connection. The benefits of the program are applicable to those who work closely with K–8 students including, but not limited to, classroom teachers, administrators, special area teachers, parents, nonprofit staff, librarians, and others who are interested in how to use mindfulness as a proactive discipline strategy. At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion.
