The Fly Five Ambassador Program is a network of motivated, enthusiastic educators committed to spreading the word about Fly Five®: The Social and Emotional Learning Curriculum in their classrooms, schools, districts, and communities. The Ambassador Program exemplifies the work of Fly Five and its contribution to education as a standards-based solution for positive academic, social, and emotional student outcomes.
Mission: The Fly Five Ambassador Program seeks to build long-lasting partnerships with educators committed to strengthening their own social and emotional competence and the social and emotional competence of others.
Fly Five Ambassadors are K–8 educators who currently use the Fly Five curriculum in their classrooms. They are:
Fly Five Ambassadors share their expertise on topics related to Fly Five by participating in various initiatives spearheaded by Center for Responsive Schools (CRS), Fly Five’s developer. Fly Five Ambassador activities may include:
Fly Five license holders can apply to become Ambassadors starting in October of each year. Once applications have been reviewed, applicants will be sent instructions for completing ten hours of micro-credentials. Applicants will be recognized as official Fly Five Ambassadors once they have completed all required micro-credentials.
The Fly Five Ambassador Program runs from October 1 to April 1 annually. Though Ambassadors do not need to reapply each year, continuing education credits may be required.
